Have your say! Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)

The University values your opinions and uses them to help us implement the changes you, our students would like to see made. Each year, you are invited to take part in the PTES which rates universities across the UK in terms of student course and learning experiences.

Last year The School of GeoSciences had some of the best PTES results in the College of Science and Engineering – we’d love to grow on these for 203/14.  Dave Ray, Director of Postgraduate Teaching says:

‘While we are delighted with last year’s results, we are always pushing to do better. Our Masters students are with us for such a short time that it’s vital we are giving them the very best in educational stimulation and support we can. If there are areas we can improve on, we want to hear about it.

I’m proud of my Postgraduate Teaching and Support staff and it would be great to see their hard work rewarded with strong PTES results for this cycle.’

As well as shaping the student experience by taking part you will generate cash for good causes – for every response received the University will make a donation to the Edinburgh Student Charities Appeal and you will have a chance to win an iPad or one of four £50 Blackwell’s Bookshop vouchers.

Please note, to take part you will have received an e-mail from the University on 5th Feb (postgraduate taught experience survey) which links to your unique link to the survey.
